Pretty sure this update does not change the plans for no wipes. The new update will restore balance to the servers all by itself.

All of them posts by moo say nothing other then they will try to avoid wiping, followed by the action of what will happen if one occurs.

Thanks Stax, I'd only seen 2 of these. Still these statements are all from August. I'm also wondering what they're current plans are for the game, and with the last update being pretty big, I'd like to hear them say, 'no wipes for now' again.
