Good clay

Postby k545836 » Thu Apr 04, 2013 7:41 pm

Hi, so what do I have to do to make a good clay?
I'm using Clay Trough now and it is coming out as 0% purity.
I found some 3% lime but the milk of lime is 0% still.
So do i have to look for water to match my lime?
Or maybe you cant clay through good clay and i have to find a deposit with purity >0?
My Pots and Pans skill is 30.

I believe that all man-made clay is of 0% purity.

If it had purity, then the dirt you dug up would probably affect the purity of the manufactured clay.

Is the composition of the Milk of Lime you made 25.00 across the board? That's the surest sign of "No purity whatsoever".

I think that milk of lime affects the process.
But very slightly. Maybe its too random at this purity.

For what it is worth here my 'data' :)

Milk of lime: 22.54;26.44;30.04;20.98 (1.06)
Resulting clay: 22.61;26.40;29.91;21.08

Edited: writed wrong clay. Now i can clearly see the correlation. Off for the good water i go :)

so seems like good water is the key to everything, unfortunately well purity doesn't work yet so everyone quit the game for now.

Hmmm...so maybe the problem was that I was just depending on a trough filled with old 0% pure Milk of Lime.

At this point, no, there isn't any way to dump any of the containers that I'm aware of. You just have to use up whats there.

If this is your attitude then you should wait for the production release. See the Global Information Well for details on the term "Beta".

The best way to get rid of a clay through is to destroy it :D But seriously, you could just move it off to the side and use up the milk of lime when you need bricks or urns.

Hmm... :?

Aaanyways, I guess I'll go make a ton of Urns now to empty my clay trough so I can begin testing synthetic clay purity.

It seems to me that the water purity has a lot more weight in milk of lime. The lime itself is only complimentary.
