I've thought about suggesting seasons before, they have been up for suggestion in HnH, one argument against them is what happens to a newbie who joins at the start of winter, my answer would be that they struggle on until spring.

I would've thought that first implementing weather, just a simple effect with different forageables available. Or even the random stuff, like you might find "a dazzling glint" when picking something if its sunny and brilliant honey-dew when its raining.

In HnH the time of day affected some foragables, as we don't have night and day, use weather.

I'm glad to see my idea being dug up again. I want to add a small effect for weather. Whereas sunny and rainy days give small boosts to agriculture such as better chance to get high bonus on plenty and influence, less upkeep by default during those days, faster growth,etc... During winter and stormy season, when planting crops, there would be a risk of seeds purity reduced by random from 1-5% as well as negative effects on the aspects mentioned above.

In winter there is snow and ice. No crops. You can hunt in the winter but not much else to do. Maybe ice fishing. Maybe playing solitare..

I wish they would add winter in. Just imagine price of foodstuff shoots up during winter time.

My bad. Then maybe dry and storm seasons, random drought or flood can cause loss of seed purity.
