http://www.thefreedictionary.com/raid ~ An entrance into another's territory for the purpose of seizing goods or valuables.

Sounds like a raid to me.

This may lay in the middle ground. It's like if a terrorist organization attacked an abandoned government building that was established in a foreign country. No casualties, no real loss, but still worthy of note to some interested individuals.

Looked like he got some nice CB gear. Anyway, I would think rather than all these sour faces one would interpret this thread as a statement on how rarely the Tribe receives any sort of setback, that the destruction of a maybe insignificant vision quest/training area that may or may not have still been in use constitutes news.

I'm not going to say anything "official" here about what is or isn't a lock worthy thread, but in my opinion, if it gets responses other than spam in response, it must not be a horrid thread. On the other hand, if people ignore it, nobody cares. If people spam it, it's either bad, full of BS, or maybe actually the truth. The only thing worthy of immediate closure is that which is spam. My opinion and not necessarily the official stance on things, so take it for what you will. News is news. Just like in life, the insignificant stories filter to the bottom, the interesting floats to the top. This must be pretty interesting to not sink to the bottom right away.

I'm with Dallane. Raid is a raid. Stuff was taken. Significant? probably not, but then the only significance of the "scalp thread" is to wave the epeen flag. Nothing significant to existing players gets posted there. Yet we allow it to continue existing. (Yes, some significant kills get posted there, and some laughs are had over some of them, but for sake of conjecture and exaggeration that is rampant in HoB, I have to say "nothing".)
I am a moderator. I moderate stuff. When I do, I write in this color.

I don't think it's as good as that one against the hundreds of braziers he did recently.

It's also not as good as Humus.

You're right, it's not as good. It's better.
