Rebellion Against the Rebellion

Postby Orlpar » Tue Apr 02, 2013 4:45 am

I'm into Salem for quite a while now. I've not been sided with any group for a long time. The ones that have anything to offer are, on Plymouth, the Tribe, and pretty much the rest, that I use to call 'the Resistance'. I will not consider others, because mostly they're newbies that have not visited forums or have not been yet raided by either of those groups. Though I've joined none of those, I've got to know representatives of each side. My experience with Tribe, was honestly, good. Even when I was openly intimating that I'm Tribe's enemy, I was treated with respect. I had troubles to understand why people fight the Tribe. Their rules and actions are extreme, radical, from the point of casual player. But when one gets to know them slightly better, it's organized structure, with goals that they're determined to achieve, nowhere near madness that I first saw. I believe people fight them, because they like good challenge. At first, I thought the same. Someone had to stop their reign, reign achieved with terror. This, is of course false, as I realized later. The other thing that makes the Tribe look like a better group, is the Rebellion itself. Their actions are just ridiculous. They fight for their beliefs, and that's perfectly fine. The thing is that instead of having fun, which is the point of every single game, it looks like the Resistance takes it seriously. Bug abusing is not fair. Jorbtar is dealing with bugs slowly... fortunately in-game, it's possible to execute the laws in many ways. But that's not the case. When I've been continuing my task to experience those groups, I talked to Rebellion representatives. I introduced myself as a treaty payer... and that was all I needed. I was called dumb, and kept getting kicked out of channel, just because I had different opinion. It's not really wrong, because my point was to realize to them that I'm enemy. My tries to explain why treaty is good concept, were denied with further insults. There are, of course, respectful and wise people in Resistance's ranks, don't get me wrong, most of my experiences with rebels were good, until I said that the treaty is a good thing.
'The Resistance' is not a group that is worth fighting against. In fact, I believe the Tribe realizes that, and they're not even trying. The Rebellion is just making mistakes, that are leading to Tribes victories, with minimum effort.

As I've said, treaty is good concept. The Tribe has a goal to keep justice on the server, and their concept of justice is proper. Of course, it can be taken as some form of incapacitation, so there always will be people trying to fight it. I just don't understand why there is so much hate directed at the Tribe. There are pretty much only two things they want people to do – pay the treaty and live in peace with others. And I believe treaty is here because of the “Rebellion”. Treaty payment protects you from the rebel. It's not just pointless tribute. Recently, there were two threads about the Tribe executing ones that raided treaty payers. And another thread, about someone hiring a ranger, because his base got destroyed. The Chief said wise words ' why hire a ranger if you can simply pay your Treaty?'

Considering what I've said, I'll be taking donations, in form of silver or any other goods. I promise that all donations will be forwarded to the Tribe, to support their efforts to make Plymouth peaceful place for everyone. I will only forward, unless you state otherwise, the goods you provide and a note/message to the Tribe representative, keeping you anonymous. Donations from everyone are welcome, if you'd like to support the Tribe, no matter why, no matter who you are, let me know.

Didn't read yet but you're retarded regardless

Edit: After reading your post I've decided that I need not alter my original text. It is more valid than ever. I will however add this, you were kicked from chats because you were severely biased towards the tribe. No one wants to talk openly with an asslicker in the chat waiting to throw info at the tribe in order to gain some favor with them. You should have understood this the moment you were kicked without needing any explanation. Also lolatyoutakingdonationstogivetothetribe

It's funny how the tribe is constantly talking about how the rebellion isn't worth their time, yet are still constantly talking about them. Maybe it'll make sense to treaty payers, they're half-retarded anyway.

edit: also  @ not even trying. I guess spending 3 days failing to break into one vault and 12 hours failing a second is the tribe "not trying"

People standing in Boston spamming messages "***** THE TREATY" for sure don't give a single ***** about the Tribe.

Olphar, you were spawning alts at coles place. Nice try.

You also playing with imerrel or w.e her name is who worked for the tribe mapping for them.

If you had a problem in fire then say something. Everything was done in good humor and everyone was laughing cept you on the inside.

I'm not sure how the tribe doesn't care about us.....you saw 1st hand how long they tried to break into coles place. Seems GH is always named dropped with anything associated with them.

I think a ton of you have no concepts of thesis, antithesis and synthesis or how a Hegellian dialectic operates.

Force
Opposition
Compromise

> Vaccum <

New Force
New Opposition
Compromise

And thus the cycle of a good shafting goes ever on and on.
