can't interact with NPC

I'm not sure about everybody else. My mouse clicks are being registered by the client. I can click on buttons on the HUD, open and close inventory, menus, etc. The gameplay area isn't registering clicks. So this is clearly a client issue and not my computer.

No, its definitely your computer. Macs have a plethora of problems with java and mouse issues. Just do a search for 'mac' and you will see what I'm talking about.

I'm having the same problem on a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.7.5.

The WASD keys work for moving and the mouse clicks work on HUD elements like the inventory, mini-map and settings buttons. However, clicks within the main interface are not working at all.

Thoughts?

So... I can't play this game on my mac because I can't click on the first guy I gotta talk to. Anyone got any suggestions? Java 7.

There's support information for getting Salem to work on a Mac one of the users came up with. It's an issue with Java itself, not Salem.
