I was not aware that some indication already exists in forms of barrels etc (Thanks goes to staxjax for pointing this out). So I am suggesting those to be made more obvious as many people do not have a clue of it existing. IMO on market some things should be obvious to anyone coming even first time in order to improve market functioning. Something like my original suggestion for example.
Original unedited post:
I am not sure how this cloth wrapped on top of market stalls is called in English, so Ill further refer to it as TC (Tent cloth).
It would be nice if TCs would indicate how filled up stall is, thus rewarding those who stock their stalls regularly.
Currently there are 6 slots in each stall. That means we would need ideally 7 TC states (visual appearances). An empty stall would have
just bits and pieces of ragged cloth on it. For each additional slot filled, coupled with the price!, TC appearance would improve, all up to 6 slots coupled with prices which should look remarkable and maybe even adorned with some additional details etc
This would serve both to indicate to customers who does serious business and to incentivize sellers to keep them stocked.
Is it a good idea?
