Pot icon stuck on cursor

I had some what of a brain fart and got myself in a weird situation.

I was trying to make some urns and when I was putting them in the kiln I noticed I had some pots in there that I had fired previously.

I grabbed one out and it was removed from the kiln but did not appear in my inventory. Not realizing that pots had to be carried I tried to grab another pot and could not do it. I then took an unfired urn and tried to swap it with a pot in the kiln. The urn went into the furnace and the pot disappeared. However my cursor turned into a pot. It was at this point when I noticed that I was actually carrying the first pot.

Now I seem to be stuck in some kind of mode for the pot. With the pot cursor it is not allowing me to do anything else and I cant get out of the mode.

I relogged and the pot I was holding went to the ground but I still had a pot cursor and could not do anything.

I logged into the normal client to see if that would help but I was in the pot mode there as well.

Anyway... I was just wondering if this was a know issue? And if so is there anyway I can correct the problem?

I have had items get stuck on the cursor, but never precisely the issue you describe. Clicking on a menu button has allowed me to drop the stuck item, but I think you may have already tried this. It's puzzling that logging out didn't change anything, since it does cause you to drop carried objects.

Yeah.. I have tried pretty much everything I can think of.

I can use hot keys but I can not target anything or click anything with the mouse. I can not even change the camera with the mouse. I just get an icon of the pot and the Gardening pot tool tip.

Well it dont sound like there is an easy solution for my character on this. But at least I was able to stumble on the problem so it can be corrected in the future..

Just to be sure: Have you clicked on one of the menus on the right like Crafting? That has realiably freed up my cursor.

If clicking on the Craft menu does not work for you, then it is likely a different error than what I have experienced.

This is definitely an odd error with no known resolution at the moment short of dev intervention. I believe a server reset will fix the problem, but can't be sure of it.

Checked again after this weeks patch but still seem to have this issue. So I still can not play

I've removed the pot from your hand, but it does seem a bit weird that you could at all take another pot out while already carrying one. I'll have to check that out.

Nice! Just tried to log in an noticed the pot was gone.

What I did was swap an unfired urn with a fired pot in the kiln while I was holding a pot already.

It was some what a brain fart on my part.

I have found this to be the case on my character as well. I know that this many days after but just recently before the patch I had accidentally grabbed a pot and picked another up and have the same issue. it is now stuck to my hand and I cannot do anything what so ever and I have tried to do everything even clicking a menu button seemed to fail so i figured posting here may help if anything to get it cleared up.
