First-time farmer with basic question

Postby Khors » Sun Mar 24, 2013 8:47 pm

I believe I understand the basics of farming....have 3 fields and wanted to start with cotton. I have prepped the field with 5 Humus, and purchased 2 stacks of 25 cotton that is 15% pure from a player stall. I couldnt plant it on my fields.

I just went to Boston and purchased one stack of 50 seeds of cerial and was able to plant that.

So, why couldnt I plant the 50 cotton (in 2 stacks of 25) from the player stall?

You have the Cotton Planting skill right?

And I am pretty sure you need 50 seeds to sow a cotton field -- so if they are in two stacks of 25 that wont work will need to combine them. But that begs to question how can you even buy only 25 seeds of cotton?

If you put the two batches in a seed bag they will mix and you can sow. Upkeep for first farm will be 100%.

If you happen to have sowed cerals in a field earlier on, you may be able to sow the cotton, just maybe since upkeep might be at 55%
