Whoops, I didn't realize there's two FW skills. It's actually Frontier and Wilderness you want, not Faith and Wisdom.

I have 71 SC, 50 FW and 51 NP

I get around 50% trees, sometimes a lot more

In my experience having both frontier and wilderness and natural philosophy at + 50 and s&c at +100 is enough for about a 70% success rate, lately I even had a run when every single sapling took.

Two finner points I can mention:

- while no one except jobtar knows the exact formula those things are based around the idea of diminishing returns so I wouldn't expect a significant increase in the success rate after raising s&c to 200 or 300, theoretically you should get better results by getting the two other proficiencies to an reasonable mid range of 50-100.

- the system is in it's infant stages and jorb did promise an expansion to tree planting but there are so many other systems that need an upgrade that considering the fact you can actually plant trees now at a reasonable pace I wouldn't expect an update in a LONG time maybe even not until 2014.
