"Presentation name"?

Hi, still getting used to the game and everything and I noticed a field for "presentation name" in the buddy list. What's that for?

That is the name that will be displayed to other people. If my ign is staxjax I can change my presentation name to Sweetbriar, and other people will see me as Sweetbriar.

It only makes a difference for new kin though. If someone already knows you by your old name, they'll continue to see the old name unless you dekin and rekin.
