When interested in buying from a trader that hasn't posted their home secret, it's up to the buyer to message the seller and provide your HS. Not everyone is good at watching for "New Messages", either, so most people leave a reply saying "PM sent".

Just... a note. The important number on a dowsing rod isn't the purity % or multiplier, it's the highest alchemical value. Your pricing would more reflect the value of the rods if you worked out a new formula based off that.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

I'd say it is more based off of your intent to do with the ores;

If you're after purifying foods, crops, ect, for gluttony then yes the alchemy comes into play; however on inspirationals' your main focus is on the multiplier which is what my formula is based off.

The multiplier also applies to foods and crops; so in all sense my forumla is good for ALL uses but not 100% accurate.
