Declaiming should ask for confirmation.

Hi just deleted a fresh claim because i misklicked and i thought it would be nice if the game would ask if i am sure about it. It would prevent such mistakes and would prevent a lot of frustration.

This is frequently requested. No ETA or word if it will be added. I can only assume it's one of those things that will be in at some point before release.

Confirmed.
I never managed to figure out something clever for my signature on Paradoxplaza, and I doubt I'll do it here either.

Declaiming

Postby inabearsuit » Tue Nov 20, 2012 8:52 am

I just started playing today, and I already made a rather unfortunate blunder. While I was trying to play around with my new homestead claim, I accidentally clicked "Declaim" and, of course, I lost the claim as well as the silver I put into extending the size of it. I'm thinking there should be some sort of "Are you sure?" pop-up, forcing a check on the player in case of accidental clicks.

So, new writs cost 150 silver (and I put 100 silver into extending the size)... now down 250 silver from a misclick. A bit of a disappoint for me. At the very least, the writ should be returned to inventory (and perhaps a portion of the silver spent on the extension).

Thanks!

There is only one other post regarding this, however I felt that I had a few more viable options to add as suggestions.

That is the usual spot for a 'Cancel' type of button, btw (and was around 3am for me).

What about a lot of abondomed claims in game? Maybe claims can get some low Silver Drain too like a village?

Not a small amount of people already made a mistake of misclicking on "declaim" button. I'm sure the interface should be changed somehow so that it would be harder to make a mistake.

In the future, if you see a post with the same issue and you just have other solutions, you should use the same thread and just add in your ideas. We have no rules on necroposting as long as you have something useful to add. Threads merged.
