Humus Purity Grinding

Postby Khors » Fri Mar 15, 2013 2:50 pm

Is there such a thing? Ive done a search and came up with nothing....Mind you i have 0% purity of anything to begin with, so maybe the way im thinking about purity development is wrong, but essentially i wanted to know if there is a way, over time, to use a compost bin to create humus while progressively increase the purity of the humus by means of rotating different additvies, like berries, meat, feathers, etc.

Again, Im starting at 0% purity with the basic things i have in-game.

Thanks

The purity fuel that you use in a compost determines the purity humus that you receieve.

Purity humus does not influence fields from either the pre-plant requirement or as a fertilizer.

Potted plants cap out around ~10-11%.

You basically you want to invest in purity cereal seeds 80%+ from a stall. Then thresh the ears of oat into seeds and throw that into a compost to make purity humus. It's good to make lead sugar caps for your first 100-150 biles as blood food, unless you live in forest biome and are semi-rich and want to make a bunch of windy pooh's.

As far as blood is concerned if you can get your hands on high purity mercury heavy pumpkin seeds then aspens make good purity food in their own right - getting the right amount of sugar caps can be rather tedious

Get better purity seeds and throw your xtra/unwanted higher purity in a bin and it will make high purity humus.

Thanks for the input...my head is swimming with learning about this, and obtaining a high purity agricultural plot.

Fields have no purity, only accumulated influences from the crops that have grown in them. These influences are only useful for obtaining higher-tier products like Rye or Green Cabbage.

The only thing that high-purity Humus is used for is producing purity enriched plants in gardening pots. Humus purity cannot be "grinded", it is merely the direct result of the purity of the materials placed in it. All that is required for high-purity humus is high-purity seeds.
