How to make a sabre?

Hello,

I have blacksmithing like the wiki suggests but I do not see the option to make a sabre anywhere. Or the metal helmet I see people wearing either.

So I am wonder if I am just missing where it is at or are there skills other than blacksmithing that I need to make such things?

Yeah the wiki is incomplete. You also need fencing for those.

Noob question: Will constructing s Sabre from an iron bar of 21% do more damage than a Sabre made from a 3% bar of iron?
What stats if any does % purity of the iron bar affect on the crafted Sabre or metal armor?

I don't think so...Pretty much it's just for things like lockets.

My understanding is that if the item has no purity rating, then there are no purity bonuses. No tool so far has a purity rating, and I have not noticed any difference between them.
