Well Ive talked to a few people about it on vent and on other forums and I think alot of people agree with me, but those people are simply not playing the game anymore and unlikely to post on these forums. so maybe this isnt the game for me but I did have some fun, and I will definitely lurk around until taming n that. a horse alone would remove a ton of tedium.

Sorry to post off subject, but I saw Banok and just wanted to say hi. Been a very long time since I saw you last. :D

I'm torn about this. I do tend to wish that improving proficiencies should be easier (because studying 15+ wood knots mixed with Learning Ability resetters for Forestry gets a bit tedious), but at the same time we would reach the so called end game faster, and that would just turn this game into all the other instant gratification games out there.

Wood knots for... arts and crafts? You're doing it wrong! Why use expensive dry boards on that when you can use super cheap things like flower arrangements, wicked wicker man, acorn indian, colored marbles, driftwood, raggy doll, spinning tops, wood carvings, and wood chips? OMG, I recently ground 20 points of A/C for forestry in 3 hours super easy gathering and using some of those items and would have taken less time if I didn't stop to use phlegm equal to my BB to make eating food more efficient.

Because I don't have access to one or more of the material to make the things you listed.
FYI, Woodchips are just insane. I would have to use tons of those to get any points since once you use more than 1 of the same inspirational the learning ability drops.

Ummm... everyone has access to flower arrangements and driftwood on the boston claim. And wood products should be easy to come by. I was thinking wood chips as a resetter if you're chaining tops or carvings, bonus that it actually gives some A/C.

You can only use it once to reset to 70% learning ability, but better than nothing i guess.

Driftwood is given to you by luck. I rather spend my dry boards, which I have no other use for as of yet, than walk up and down the coastline to "forage".
