Yes good idea.

Also possible restrictions:

-Ressing takes certain time to compelte after making payment - say 24 hours delay?

-Instead of only one use per character forever, maybe you can only Ress once per month or so

this is an objectively bad idea that doesn't even merit discussion. permadeath is a core feature and if the developers had wanted to circumvent it in some way they already would have done so. why wasn't this locked immediately?

This goes against everything that the developers stand for and will never happen. Locking this thread as it will never accomplish anything.

PVE server

I would think that there will be allready a lot of suggestions about PVE server. But i typed in the word pve - and there come nothing at all!

I just can't believe that the game has no casual gamers. The ones that want to log in for 1-2 hour a day, grow some crops, bake some cakes, explore some lakes and peacefully go to sleep, knowing that they'll be back tomorrow with everithing perfectly inplace :)

I mean i advertise the game to my friends and tell them how great and beautifull it is... But all i get is: perma-death? lol what? The day after purity update I was looking at the store and i really wanted to buy some silver to invest it into high purity humus from the stalls. But then i understood that i am playing this game (no matter how good it is) right to the point my base is raided. So it is not really smart to invest in something you can lose overnight.

I mean It does not has to be a server. Or hardcoded PVE, just some improved defences. It can be safe zones with limited resources like in EVE. Or some other stuff. But don't you plan on show some love to casual audience? :)

There were many such suggestions.

This game has quite a bunch of casual players.

Devs wanted to make the game centered around PvP and perma-death

Why not do both at the same time? Two kind of servers thing can do exactly that.
Now you can balance PVP without constant complaints from ppl who just do not want to do such thing.

As much as I would like to play the game without PvP, that's not what devs want. They made the game specifically with PvP in mind.
Devs made some post about that some time ago, but it was more like philosophical monologue by jorb, which didn't make much sense to me.
In short it meant that where there are players interacting with each other then each interaction is "aggressive" in some way. And because you can't make clear distinction between aggressive and non-aggressive there "should be" permadeath and all-out PvP

PVE server would be nice if wild animals have the ability to kill you, in the sense of permadeath ¦] . Else, crafting games would be quite boring without PvP.
We make sword stone for keeper and pull they do it and excalibur come out. have no make stone to for sword we make sword box for sword to put sword in for sword. -Moniker (Anarchy online)
