[Wiki] Wiki Suggestion thread

Yes, that is what I had in mind, similar to how they have a link to dried fish.

Learning the properties of each fish ended up being more annoying than I had initially thought it was going to be, due to having to click through two different links to find the info I wanted. In terms of organization related to the process of crafting it makes perfect sense, but unfortunately the info is not as accessible as it could be.

Would it also be possible to create a page that lists the stats of all the different roasted meats? This could be tricky I think, given how the templates are arranged and the requirements for clear presentation of gluttony values, but I think it would be useful to have a central page for "this is what you get when roasting meat".

Note: When I say "is it possible?" I'm not trying to say "I want something, do it for me". Rather, I simply don't know how one would go about doing it in a proper manner. If I did know how, I wouldn't have posted here, and roasted meats would be easily accessible for all!

Hmm...pity it's uselessly long and cluttered. The information is all there but not really in a form where it is usefully accessible to those who need it.

Now, one thing that distinguishes the "Roasted Meat" information from the other foods, is that there is no real way (even with ender's client's wiki integration) to find out what roasting a particular meat will give you, since it's one crafting-functiion for all of them.

The ability to post comments ON the wiki, like "hey if you lift something and then right click it you can drop it on the ground neatly" under 'lift' in the wiki.

Otherwise, information such as that should be on the lift page as it relates to the subject directly.

WIKI - POTTERY - Information Wrong

Upon getting Pottery Skill, you DO NOT gain the skill to create a clay pot...only the Marbles, Urn and the ability to create a Clay Trough - I do not know why you do not get a clay pot but it appears the DEVS changed the items from the original skills. My other character had this when he got Pottery but my new toon did not receive the Clay Pot.

Someone may want to check this new update.

You could also make an account on the wiki since you have the correct information readily at hand with which to update the page. It's hard to know what is or is not correct on the wiki unless you have the relevant in-game information easily accessible. In short, someone who notices a factual error on the wiki is the person who is BEST equipped to correct it.

Also this thread is about requests for more structural changes to the wiki that require advanced privileges or need to be discussed, not the actual informational content of the wiki.
