Has anyone found a way around this bug yet? It has been months since discovered and I am wondering what the purpose of corn purity if it simply reverts to base when ground into flour. Just ground some golden and blue cornmeals... both reverted.

The only way I have found to get any purity from corn is to press it into oil and use that oil in a recipe. The oil still maintains purity, but that's only a minor increase in overall product purity.

I too have found that milling Corn results in 0% purity Corn Meal. Kind of a bummer, really.

This makes me sad...

Is it a bug or do they intend for corn to not have purity ? otherwise ill stop growing it :(

i love corn because its not cereal! so many corn recipes that could compete and offer variety if only it kept its purity :)

Unless loftar (or jorb) leaves a comment on the bug tracker explicitly saying "not a bug", it's usually considered a bug or at least an issue that needs looked at. Beyond that, sorry, I've not seen anything specific and don't know anyone that has said they have. We're assuming bug at this point.

Lest thing I remember hearing about it was that they were going to fix corn when the rest of the purity system gets tweaked. No idea when that would actually be, though.

even if they dont do it in a general farming update, this bug should be fixed because as of now corn is merely useless
