Yes, because thats the maximum it allowed me. I had two scents which gave me 20 charge. Thats 20 min tracking, isn't it?
Anyway I hope people here are not just cicking and clicking constantly for hours to walk away, because if they can do that, I'm really in the wrong place.

So you are mad that the person who KO you lived far away, didn't commit enough crimes to leave scents and people should be able to fly across the map while tracking? Cool.

I get the feeling you didn't walk very far away from Boston if you think 20 minutes was a long time. The person who raided you probably lives hours away, and when you settle, you should settle at least an hour from Boston if you want any chance of being safe.

There's always a risk of being stumbled across and raided... but that's why you keep your most valuable stuff on you when you log out or use it before you log out.

If there were a few of you sharing, it should have been easy to pool your silver and buy a pclaim and to put up a wall fast.

You get raided, it happens, hire someone bigger to hunt down the raider, like everyone else does.

FYI its generally not a wise idea to try and resettle a dead location unless the v/p claim is dead and the walls have not been breached. cause most likely the area is a high traffic location (lots of people know of or wander by) making it more likely that the past owners were killed/raided/driven away. making you homesteading it almost foolish.

it can be compared to trying to settle the center of a nuclear reactor room that suffered melt down and expecting not to sprout extra limbs..

you should always explore the map for a few weeks and get as far away from main town as possible look for areas without any past or current hermit/towns and setup shop that is by far the safer route to go IMO. even though dead hermit/towns are great for some phatz lewts more often they are a hot bed of possible raids or griefers

When you set up a place its wise to leave some goodies outside the walls for raiders to steal. They might be satisfied with what they find outside and move on. However they might find so much goodies that they think there is even better goodies on the inside..
