Still crashing. I have Radeon HD 6670 and I've tried updating the drivers, but the problem persists.

OK, I found a workaround. Apparently it crashed because alt+shift is also hotkey for switching keyboard language. Changing it to shift+ctrl solved the problem (still crashes when I shift+ctrl by accident, of course). This still needs a proper fix, though, because lots of players use multiple keyboard languages. Anyway, this problem popped up when the switch to JOGL2 was made, hopefully that helps narrow it down.

I switch languages with alt shift and move items with alt shift and salem does not crash

Anyway, what's your OS and Java? We seem to be the only ones on the forums with this issue, so you could double the amount of data devs have on this bug

Is there any way to change the keyboard bindings in Windows to something not involving two modifier keys? I was thinking something using the rarely used "Windows" key, such ask "Win+K".
