Not sure why they'd change their design philosophy just because of that. Developers do have some say in what they develop.

Perm-death on all servers is worst thing this could happen to this game. People like building stuff sandbox games, people who have real life and dont like waste time starting over and over from begining. Not mention that PvP sux on perm-dead games because most of people shake-ass or other just grief around to catch any newbie. And option to choose from three diffrent type servers show the true what really players want. And nobody must complain. :P

What players want and what jorbtar want are 2 completely different things. This game is obviously not for you or anyone else who wants no permadeath.

Also please use the search so you can see how these threads get shot down and locked

This, remember, the grey blocks are the best if you're going to be a minecraft raider.

Now YOU'RE being an oracle in thinking that Paradox wants them to change it. I believe, when jorb first posted about a contract to make a new game, it was to build a game just like HnH, but a commercial version. In fact, every post I've seen from Paradox has been in support of the concept of permadeath.

There's a ton of posts and info from the devs and Paradox to research on this, so kindly inform yourself before coming and accusing members of what the game is supposed to be before attacking community members when they tell you otherwise. Also, if this thread is just going to turn into an anti-permadeath rant, it'll get closed. There's a single existing thread for that. Find it and use it if you wish to continue on that course.

Its why idea suggest three types of servers where people can chooce what they want. And what gamestyle satisfy us as players. Who like perm-death will still play on perm-death server, who not so he dont play there. Simple and easy, if its commercial version it should hit into market need. If not than RIP Salem. Not everyone are such no life's to waste time in keep starting from begining. I just dont understand what short-vision people shoot in foot of they own project.
