Perma KO while still in combat?

So I stumbled upon what looked like an abandoned base only to find out that the homestead claim upkeep wasn't paid. I started going through the boxes and found tons of stuff. Built a leanto immediately to start fencing the items to my town members. Well someone comes along during me finishing up , apparently they lived there and forgot to pay upkeep. Anyways, my question is he KO'd my alt off of his claim and I cannot respawn. I am not on his property or under the criminal debuff. Why can I not respawn?

He's in combat with you, see the right corner he can do this as long he want to, he can call up a friend to murder you or anything.

Got been murdered a few times this way, its lame and stupid.

So he's staying in combat with you on purpose so goodluck ! :geek:

Yup, he has you locked in combat to prevent you from respawning while somebody comes to murder you.
