Well I got all started yesterday, but from my understanding, unless you have a membership, you cannot play on the old school servers yet. So, I'm around as, you guessed it, Jinx Devona in a lot of purple.

I read a few reviews on Glassdoor from current and former employees. Some of them were not pretty. But then again, those might be a poor representation of the company as a whole.

Yes, that's the current state. The only way for F2P to be introduced is if the votes reach 750k - which I think will be a bloody miracle if that happens. I didn't even think it would reach the 250k. But then again, RS2006 had 300k registered people at its peak.

I think this is the first week since the release of Squeal of Fortune where the news list mentions NO UPDATES for SoF. That's worth two thumbs up, in my opinion.

I'm thoroughly enjoying myself I'm making a range tank pure so I'm just grinding my way up to 20 defense and then AFKing on monks lol
They heal themselves and rarely ever hit so you can just skill up for ages

So tonight I played through some tutorial quests to get reacquainted. First, what is with the fighting? Ug. Second, how the hell do you close the chat window? Third, I just cannot stop right-clicking things. Use the anvil... okay, right-click.... nooooo left-click. It feels so weird to click, use cam, fight. Not giving up though, will continue playing.

Yeah, I was trying to turn the camera with my scroll wheel for a while lol

Now you both know how I felt when I started playing Salem. I left-clicked everything and tried to use arrow keys to change the camera. Now I'm so used to Salem I try to scroll internet pages by pressing the mouse wheel and rotate.

Side note: another 150k votes are needed for the next vote tier. 400k for full blown F2P usage. One can only hope.

Yep, I'm on the newer crappy servers. It's driving me nuts...lol. I thought only members could use the old servers? Until the members get off their behinds and vote 750k.
