Silver transfer

Okay, I am loathe to ask another stupid question. But...I have 3 stacks of 100 silver in my inventory. I have a purse that can hold 500 pieces, and right now I only have 106 in there. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get those stacks of silver in my inventory into my purse. I have tried every single dragging action that I can think of. Any ideas?

left click stack > right click purse
