I'm a criminal

Postby CockyBastard » Tue Feb 19, 2013 10:44 am

I travelled for 2 hours to steal and destroy someones home - can they track me for that long?

Second:
I have no lean to (no home at all), can they track/summon me??
martinuzz
I was paddling on a lake, in a canoe, while carrying a boat. Then lost all my chit to lag!

Do you really want to be a good girl?

I am sure you left plenty of scents so they can follow you all the way to the Mexico.
Yep they can summon you anywhere.

They don't need to follow you. Without a homestead you can be freely summoned. With a homestead they would at least have to travel to your homestead before killing you. I'd advise building a decently fortified base to hide in for criminal acts. If you're an active player then keep your braziers well fed and your walls in good repair. I'd also advise for the criminal character to not be the one who owns the homestead touching the fence. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but having a homestead not touching the very outside of a base makes it more difficult to summon you as they'll have to fight their way to your plot before they can utilize their scents.

If plan B is to set a bot to idle for you online 24/7 then they'll probably just track you down and kill you. I'd seriously suggest building a base of operations for criminal acts. It helps a lot.

Well for his current character it is probably too late to make a base, so his plan B will have to work for now. However, after this has cleared you should definitely invest in walls and braziers.

Sounds like too much work, I'm not into building or crafting, only murder.

I understand that there are those out there that will feed and house you to "take care of problems". Much like the crafter that doesn't want to PvP, the killer that doesn't want to craft is hard pressed to be successful in this game. Unfortunately, this game, much like life, is full of compromises. Hopefully you'll find one that is satisfactory to both you and those around you.
