About the walls & splash dmg, this is a very bad update if you just built your 20th layer of walls...

What about removing splash damage when destroying walls in your own claim/village? Would make more sense than the explosions we can see with the new system.

Get planting them trees guys. If they trespass its insta brazier fire.

Trees and braziers, braziers and trees, thats what i had for defenses, delicious.

you knew you can lose everything, so don't cry about it!

when there are no changes, ppl rage.
when they make a change, ppl rage again.
seems like if everything was free, and everything could be built/rebuilt in 5mins, ppl would still rage how it's expensive and too slow to make...

for all those who rage, I dare you to make a game in 1st try, without any additional alterations and fixes. That's why this is called beta, and not official release...

btw, love the update, and for the splash dmg, I bet it will be balanced over time :D

Splash damage is a great idea, yet how it has been implemented is a huge mistake imho.

Its been integrated into your destroy ability which imho is a big no no, it should be its OWN SKILL, or should require additional tools, and require something high end, 100C&D, 125 H&N at least.

I do not want to even test this update, it would ravage my base, and then if updates were reverted, base would be defenseless.

I agree. It is a good idea on the whole, yet the implementation is horrendous. There is no way as a defender to capitalize on this without massive overhauls, and expenditure of time, all while potentially leaving your claim very vulnerable in the meantime.

If it were just not so painful to tear down walls - and a way to mitigate the self inflicted collateral damage it would not be so bad, but with the way it has been dropped upon us is just a nightmare of extra work. I don't mind the grind and time spent to reach a goal, but this is a game and when I start to refer to and look at the game as "work" -especially so with a new aspect of it suddenly introducing an extra huge pile of it upon me just to attain a previously anticipated reward - it starts to be not so much of a game, and more akin to a chore, which i have enough of in real life.

Thinking upon it more, They should integrate this splash damage into waste, and at the same time, give waste its own ability.

Destroy is used when removing things around your own homestead.
Waste is used when raiding.

Currently You still use the destroy ability when raiding, but you need the waste skill to make it work with criminal acts.

Give waste its own skill / ability icon, and move the splash damage to waste only.
