I have 2 stalls on Roanoke and love this change, although some points concern me

It will no longer be possible for the stand owner to withdraw items from the stand at no cost.
Can be a problem if you try to sell expensive rare stuff (full slotted Admiral's Uniform for example, what starting price? how long will it take before someone buys it,..)

The stand owner will be forced to set a price before putting goods in the stand.
I'm ok with this

The price of goods in the stands will only be possible to adjust within the span of ±50% of the originally set price.
I'm ok with this

The weekly rent will increase to 1000s.
I'm ok with this, if you own a stall and earn less then 2000s, you're doing something wrong !!!

while i like the changes, i was more hoping for changes related to availability. It is not very fair to players who come to the game after the existing players already scooped up the stalls. You could even reduce the stall size if you do not want them taking up too much space.

On the contrary they should increase stall size or offer upgrades for silver. This would discourage people owning multiple stalls such as myself.

With the changes to stalls, setting the initial price I would be reluctant to put expensive items in there since they could be there, taking up one slot for a long time.

If this is possible, it would certainly make the market much more fair.

I think rent should depend on stall location. Like it's now. Its harder to earn money selling stuff at stalls whitch are far away from town center, so its not fair to pay the same amount of silver for them.
atm im earning ~1000s a week from my stall ;p update will make me work harder xD

Fair would be only if we would pay some % of our income as rent.

So if you have no income it's free and you can hold it forever?

No, then some basic rent like 300s per week needs to be paid, but if I have income larger than 2000s then 15% of my income would be my rent.

If my income would be 5000s in this week then my rent should be 750s, if in next week I will be offline for most of the time and my income will drop to 3000s I have to pay 450s as rent. Of course I am not sure if 15% is right number, but from my experience it is better than 1000s per week.

I understand you want to stop people who are using stalls as cheap and safe storage, if % rent is bad then maybe better would be to rise rent only for stalls that are almost empty and nobody bought anything from them for more than a week?
- no income for 1st week +300s rent (600s),
- 2nd week without income +600s rent (900s) etc etc

And do we really need tax in current form, maybe this % rent-tax from income could replace it?
I would really want to set amount of silver I will get for item I put into stall, right now I have to make calculations outside of the game.

Or we could do it the easy way with a base cost and achieve essentially the same effect anyway?
