Scents /help please/

Postby KGery » Sat Feb 09, 2013 3:10 pm

Hi! I'm sure it was discussed sometime, but i need an answer as soon as possible.
I tried the toggle criminal acts button at a claim, and it let me enter to there. I got the crime! debuff and i read that it means i leave scents and the owner can summon me to his claim. I would like to know how long these scents last. My crime debuff is already over btw, but i don't know for how long he can summon me to himself, and i1m scared he'll find my homestead or what is worse to kill me.
Thank you in advance.

It depends what crimes you committed on the claim, the only the scents that are summonable are Theft, Battery, Vandalism and Murder. If you only left trespassing then you cannot be summoned out of game, although its possible that your character could be tracked with these scents, trespassing lasts about 8 hours iirc.

Ah all right then. This also means if i log out for 8 hours (it will be hard but it's better than risking my life :D) he won't be able to kill me? I1m not at my homestead, i started walkign away the opposite direction.
Also thank you very much for your help.

With a trespassing scent he can either track you or track to your homestead. Even if you are no where near your homestead, he can still track to it and know where you live.
