Looks like something is going wrong with Java, what could it be?

I'd put odds on your driver's OpenGL support. Check for updates. Make sure you have settings to "application settings" instead of forced AA/AI, etc. When graphics get corrupted, this is usually the culprit.

Y i already was thinking about that before I posted my problem. And as you can imagine I did already put AA/AI settings to "let application handle it".

Hm, well I have the "latest" beta driver installed Catalyst 13.2. Looks like the latest driver is forcing the problem, so I may have to downgrade...

If you're using beta software, I'm assuming it is so that you can test and report problems. Otherwise, yes, you should use the latest release version of drivers if you want to avoid any issues.
