Postby Runxcille » Fri Feb 01, 2013 2:55 am

This is one of my first posts so i'll be brief, there's an error in the system where if i try to light a fire (torches are fine) on one of the pile of wood, it makes an error and it will keep displaying that error until the fire dies out, then i can finally log back in and try to get the fire to not do this error, please help! i really want to make all the kinds of food that you can make in this game but i cant without any fire :\

if needed here is this,

First thing I have to ask is--Do you have the latest drivers for your video card installed? Don't use the default Windows drivers. Make sure to download from the manufacturer's website.

ATI: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Intel: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/

In a few cases, (especially with Intel integrated graphics processors), you'll need to go to the computer manufacturer's site.

If you have an older computer with an integrated Intel processor, you may need to upgrade to Windows 7 or newer. Read more here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=96 (Read through the first few posts. There's different fixes based on different issues.)

If this doesn't fix the issue, please follow up.

All the hardware on this computer is updated to the max of whats out there, (i made sure of it when i rebooted it) so idk why its making this error, lighting a fire is the only thing causing this error for this computer, it is a dell lattitude 600

If it's the same specs as I found here-- https://support.dell.com/support/edocs/ ... /specs.htm --you may be able to run, but you'll have complications. That's a very old graphics processor in there from around 2002. I'd have to dig around a good bit to see if it even supports OpenGL 1.4.

If I'm looking at the wrong system or you have a different graphics processor than the one mentioned in that spec sheet (ATI Radeon 9000), please let me know.
