I've only used one for over a month and before that (as in month before that) was just to login to check if anyone left a message, so ya you are living in the past, wake up :D.

No, this will never be true, with or without the tribe's presence. In a game that allows raiding and killing, hermits will never be able to play in complete peace without worrying.

But at least with the tribe's existence, Some hermits can play with a lot less worrying and more peace of mind. The tribe has killed or frightened many people who would otherwise be raiding anyone they thought looked weak enough, benefiting everyone. They also provide restitution and revenge to anyone who pays the treaty.

Yes, they still raid people who don't pay, but that is no worse than what would happen to hermits and villages if there were no tribe, if there were just a few groups of bandits like GH, and random raiders. In fact, even non payers have it better because there is only the One group out there who might find and raid them. Luck can let you get away for a long time, though you pay with constant worry rather than silver.

Like I said, luck and a lack of anyone raiding but the tribe alone can let you last a long time. But you know you have to worry all the time that some day you'll be found and raided. You know it's just a matter of time.

I have been there since plymouth started. Prewipe my place was never touched either. There are a ton of places like this.

You have not tried to seriously take credit for any of the chief "losses" until recently (recently being around 2 weeks I think?). Previously you've supposidly acted in the shadows, and now you want to step forward. The only rational reason why you would want to do so is because Chief provoked you into wanting to step out of of the shadows and that is a significant victory for Chief, are you unable to see that?
