What I'm saying is this thread in itself was pointless from the very start which is why I'd originally locked it. The OP got her answer before she even started it to begin with and then stated in the thread she'd gotten her answer.

People who are under the protection of the tribe: Gaming experience is better/more safe than when the tribe wasn't a large faction.

People who aren't under the tribe's protection: Think things are worse now that the tribe is a large faction.

Which makes sense seeing how one group is safe and another is not.

If you think it's better, all fine and good, but it's not. If it was "better," a hermit could play in peace without worrying about someone coming along and raiding or screwing with them under the name of "role play." To be quite honest, it's just more of the same with a different hat. (I do enjoy a good bit of role play as long as it doesn't get out of hand... I feel like it's gotten out of hand, but that's my opinion.)

Again, not really. If you fail to pay attention to the politics of the server and don't know where/who to avoid, you're going to get screwed. If your cautious and know the right people, you can avoid the biggest offenders here. The Chief and his hangers on like to make it out that the world is all rosey under them, but you guys are in for a very rude awakening. Up to this point, the chief has survived on bug abuses and unbalanced gameplay.
