MM doesn't need treaty for silver. They need it to know location of people so that they can swiftly punish them in case of disobedience. Besides, people who want protection from real raiders would pay.

- They don't kill for giggles. They kill because they won't pay the treaty.

They did and still do it for giggles, check scalp thread. And there was another thread were a guy was killed for trading with me. Which never happened (trade that is). They want to kill for giggles, and they will find an excuse.

If the order must be paid by submitting to absolute control by people like raelak and chief then I prefer chaos.

What do they need silver for? Don't they have industry strong enough to easily make loads of silver? Suddenly without monopoly you are no longer able to make silver?

Truth about the treaty is that its affordable, too affordable if u ask me, and only people not paying it are either someone that got killed by the Tribe before and dont really want to pay, Gallow Hill folks and Wannabe's that are all talk and no walk anyway, what im trying to say Tylon is that you are one of many smart people...

As for killing for giggles... IT IS FRAKING OPEN PVP PERMA DEATH GAME WHERE KILLING OTHER PEOPLE MAKES YOU FEEL FRAKING IMPORTANT AND POWERFUL!!!

I didn't say it's not. But I still don't like killing people for giggles. And the thread asked for better system, so I said what I would like more than what we have now

It is your choice how you want to make money in this game?
I prefer industry and farming, but I can understand people that prefer raiding it is much more fun and risky, yet some people like this game for not being farmville powered by Paradox.

lol, cant leave the base because you guys try to grief us with pclaims...right. We dont need to forage, so your claims didnt do anything to us. Besides, who gives a ***** if we have to leave waste/trespass scents you cant get into our base anyways. But, think what you want if it makes you feel better.

Doesn't matter if mm is good or bad, both playstyles appeal to different people, and add flavor. However a dominated server is a sure sign of poor game mechanics or poor design. It's great that people can effect the nature of a server, however playing only to the whims of a few no matter how benevolent or malicious will not be fun for long. The problem isn't the imposition of the treaty, it's the utter lack of alternatives that is stiffling.

Better system hmmm... I like last idea of GH to gather resources from volunteers, but bad thing in their idea is that those resources are gathered to support single faction!!!
People that will support GH will just feed fighters for next tyrant of plymouth imho. Yes I know that GH said many times they were not care about domination, but after what chief show us all, how domination, can be "FUN" for strongest faction I fear that GH members hunger for praise and worship may change their future behavior.
