That's poor development. UI comes after all of the core content is in the game or you'll constantly need to rework it and change it. This isn't even a Salem or Haven or whatever thing, that's just smart development. I won't disagree with improvements to the UI substantially improving the Salem experience, your point is incorrect.

This game is already in Open commercial beta.

But the game still has core features lacking and isn't openly available. If anything, the correct term would be closed commercial alpha.

"core features".

Please tell me whats missing from the "CORE FEATURES" of this game ?, without mentioning or comparing it to anything from HnH.

A good working chat system, which does not take up 40% of my screen if im talking to more than 2 people, is a "CORE FEATURE PROBLEM" imo.

One of the easiest solution to fixing the problem, is to make the chat window interactive toggle-able, so i can actually interact with the game environment without needing to open / close it every 30 seconds to talk to people.

Changed to 40%, was typo. You fast, and i edited to 40% as you were posting it seems.

I guess you do not talk to more than 2-3 people then, because to do so, requires you to expand the chat window to the max, which when max opened, takes about 30-40% of the screen.

Yea, do not quote me on the exact %, its a guesstimate

Witchcraft? One of the most prominent aspects of the game's advertising is still not included. I'm not from HnH but animal husbandry's still not in and horses aren't available. Cross server travel isn't implemented. And everything else that in our hubris we can only speculate on.

Control and management of large cattle, siege, and witchcraft to name a few things. The last core feature added was multiserver support. While a chat system can be considered a core feature, by definition an optimized one is a bloat, even if a rather nice bloat.

Edit: Ah, woops Tylan mentioned two of my features before me. Sorry about that. To make up for it have another: the purity system.

1. Half the proficeincies serve no purpose other than to gain skills or artifice which eventually they will

-Edit- I'm not sure if this would quallify as "core features" so correct me if I'm wrong.

My girlfriend has been testing Salem recently, she's currently away for school so I can't be there beside her to show her how enders works/troubleshoot so she's been using standard client and I have to say, when I chat her ingame she rarely even notices that I've messaged her lol. I'll have to send her a text message or call to let her know to open her chat window. On top of this, when I log on/re-log I need to open my backpack, open my inventory, click on both claims, open my options menu and then move my study menu to the side. EVERY. TIME.
