Food combinations for gluttony

I was just thinking that it would be awesome if certain food combinations would give gluttony bonuses, or other bonuses for that matter. For example: As we all know cookies are tasty, but cookies eaten with a glass of cold milk, a cup of tea or a cup of coffee is so much more tasty, so say you could combine 2 of these during gluttony and get both the normal gluttony values and also a bonus for having matched these two foods together.

Maybe we could also get to make actual dishes and meals as well, which, depending on the combinations give different bonuses. I know there is a place in one of the early video blogs where Jorb/Loftar mentions having to "compose cheese platters" for high level gluttony.

Another thing that would be interesting is if it was made impossible to advance into the hundreds by just spamming food, instead people would have to use the systems mentioned above, and actually think about their diets, to further advance their humours.

A positive thing that I could see with this proposal is that it would encourage trade of food, as the game progresses everyone won't be able to do everything at the same time. Everyone cannot be farmers, ranchers, vine producers, hunters and whatever at the same time and, since you would require many diverse ingredients for the late game food, trade is needed. For example a high end omelet might require eggs, milk, cheese and something else, all of these produced in different processes. And for the cookies with milk, you would probably require wheat flour, a high en agricultural product, and maybe some precious chocolate, imported from another colony, for the cookie as well as the actual milk, which is (obviously) produced by cows.

I haven't given too much thought into these ideas, so they might be utter crap. What do you think? Please don't hate too much.

I have a feeling this actually might happen one day. (well i hope so)

Were you need to eat a range of foods to level up biles, instead of eating the same pumpkin flesh 2000 times, or leaf of colewort.

I think, eating the same type of foods, should be a diminishing returns just like learning with inspirational does, however you cannot reset the the meter.

So to gain a level, you would need to eat totally different foods, or get huge diminishing returns if you consume the same things and even with current foods ingame, it would be a serious struggle to reach 200 biles, and would somewhat balance the game.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there is already a system with diminishing returns for gluttony in place. Hence the need for 2000 pumpkin flesh.

here's an idea

Completing a gluttoney bar with a high level of 1 element kills you.

example a 5 humour char consumes a piece of pumking flesh 89 percent murcury, dies of blood poisoning
100 humour char consumes same piece of pumking flush but it doesnt fill the bar so his system can tolerate it than consumes pumkin flesh with 89 percent salt thus balancing the elements.... so when a bar is filled the elements get mixed (like mixing different seeds, and if 1 element surpases a threshold like 75 percent the char gets knocked out. death is a little harsh but would be funny.

to avoid food poisoning you have to balance the elements.

you do realise the 2000 pumpkin flesh + 2000 leaf of cabbage im eating will get me to like 200/300 all biles ?

Now do x10 to them numbers, and laugh how quickly you can make 200+, 300+, 400+ humour alts just from endlessly eating the same 2 kinds food which you can produce in the tens of thousands every couple of days with almost 0 effort.

If you think there is "diminishing returns" for glutton your mistaken. Yes your meters reduce faster, the longer you wait between eating foods, but this drain has no impact on the different types of food you eat. You could eat 10 pumpkins, or 10 totally different foods in a row, and you will get the same invariance.

What I mean is that there is a system for reducing gains, just needs to be tweaked, and maybe food needs to be nerfed a bit.
