Yea, this is why I started suggesting some changes. Effort vs reward for fishing is out of balance.
Worms for bait are great, but here we have another problem in the difficulty involved in acquiring them. A proper worm farm which produces worms and maybe liquid fertilizer or something instead of just the few random ones you get in compost bins would make getting worms more convenient. Sure it's easy enough to stand on a tile digging and dropping dirt but... Where's the fun in that?
I'm also not sure that worms can be used to catch all fish varieties, but that comes down to a lack of effort by not spending more time testing them.
