Friendly Fugitives?

Postby jwhitehorn » Mon Jan 14, 2013 10:47 am

Greetings Filthy Squatters of Salem,
It has recently come to my attention that the Fugitives of Salem have been befriending young squatters and influencing them into believing that their convictions with the Tribe are some kind of misunderstanding. MAKE NO MISTAKE, If a player of the server is a known fugitive then they have gone through a very lengthy and fair judicial process and are in fact people you do not want to associate yourself with. To make this point clear I have decided to share with you the story of Hoenderdaal (Judaism on the forums).

It started when Hoenderdaal was seen having a conversation with the notorious criminal known as Jaxon. Alias include: StaxJax, StaxHax, TedLover Hoen was warned by the Tribe at that time to cease all communication with StaxHax. Then less than a week later he is spotted in Boston saying the following things:

"that leanto wall jump is sick"

and

"Jax, you need any better seeds"

Image

To this day I do not know if Hoen thought the Tribe could not find him or if be believed the Tribe would not know that he continued his forbidden relationship. Regardless, the Chief and his brave marched to his city.

Image

And breached his walls.

Image

He was offline. However, if you have left a scent. ANYWHERE in this world. The Chief not only has it but has it conveniently catalog'd for times such as this.

Image

And thus marked the end of this 100+ Humour character.

Image

As you would expect from somebody who would converse with somebody like StaxHax his Treaty payment was delinquent so I went into the mine and helped myself to his purse.

Image

We noticed a collection of cupboards bugged to be moved inside a mine.

Image

So we fixed it.

Image

And cleaned the place up a bit.

IMPORTANT
While Hoenderdaal was given the courtesy of a "warning" when dealing with Stax, others may not be so lucky. I encourage you all to kin any and all players that you do business with. If you are caught trading with, conversing with, or even touch the same barrel as "JaXon" you will suffer a similar fate.

That is all.

For those curious Procne is also a known fugitive. Several have had their bases burned to the ground for trading with his little Boston Harbor company. Proceed with caution.

And another person abusing a mine gone to dust.

Oh the pain in 8000s worth of cupboards being destroyed, but they should have never have been there in the first place, same with them fields, etc.

Nice work on doing the devs work for them chief, in ensuring the abuse of mine mechanics is dealt with swiftly. (Even if this was not your primary intention).

Funny stuff.

Yes, and as all fugitives I hide in Boston. Because Boston is the hideout for all fugitives. Remember about this next time you visit Boston.
Don't be a fugitive. Don't visit their den. Don't visit Boston.

Hopefully MM tribe is already working on removing this criminals crib, for the safety of everyone

Association through procreation is clear and true here.

You are safe, as long as you do not even procreate with GH&co members, unless you have written consent from the chief himself of course.

While you may be content hiding in the alleys of Boston I firmly believe that most of the player base is not. I do not know how you sleep at night knowing that you put every person you trade with in harms way.

I thought you were happy with all the goods you bought from me. But then you got enough and I became a fugitive with my base being burnt.
I was a simple trader who was letting people use my stall.

But if you are worried about people who trade with me, you can easily protect them from the harm by... not burning down their bases. Or by offering them the same service as I do, at better conditions, so they don't have to trade with fugitices like me. But I think keeping the market closed to others is more important than safety of pilgrims, no?
