This is my final warning. If you do not have any proof that the OP is a sockpuppet then do not post on the subject, even if it's meant as a joke.

Do not further derail this thread.
I never managed to figure out something clever for my signature on Paradoxplaza, and I doubt I'll do it here either.

From my understanding, since my raider was a house that was pretty close, and he was a low humor packrat, I made out a lot better than some. I got lucky in that it was all easily ferryable back to my place. Only took me several hours to take the chests home, three map tiles away. If you've got a long, long haul across land, you may not make out _quite_ as well; and if you do, it took me 4 hours to move ~32 chests about 3 map tiles using a boat for the majority of movement. There were goods in a bit over half, the rest were empties that were a huge upgrade to my urn collection.

If I hadn't gotten so much, I still think it would be worth it. Guy told my friend he wanted the house several times, so the ongoing problem would have been getting worse regardless. He'd finally gotten brave enough to commit crimes, and now the problem is solved (for now). I hope his place rots, if it does, I will get even more chests.

Yay for chests! I just found a few empty ones on an abandoned claim and walked over and hour to take them home in the sled I also found there. o.O

I have the recipe for cabinets and sheds and really wish I could build some, but I can't make the planed or oiled boards, and the only person selling them in boston is charging Way too much so chests are really nice to get.

I am new to the game so this will read like a totally n00bish...but, won't you have traceable stolen property on your claim? Will this allow the perp's friends to summon and then murder you and presumable recover said goods?

My guy doesn't do crime so I never really looked up anything about it. I know there are scents associated with crime, but I'm assuming it's the would be the chief's scents?

And finally, do folks normally move sites once they've been robbed like this? I play a hermit so I freak when I see anyone out and moving around.

No the scents will be traced back to the Chief. Just remember that if/when the Chief is summon killed he died for all the sins scents of Salem's people.

Yep.

From August to November it was extremely common for a Hermit to pack up their stuff and be forced to move at the first sign of trouble. Ever since the Treaty was introduced and formal justice is a forum PM away this is no longer necessary. Now when you see somebody creeping around outside your walls you have nothing to fear as long as your Treaty Payments are current. You will still want to make sure you don't get in combat range so you are not reporting a "Murder" as the Tribe cannot reverse the death of a character but any other injustice is easily reversed.

The better question is who has NOT paid. At time the Chief's Kin list has more than 50% of the active/online players of Plymouth. All in good standing with the Treaty and color coded "blue". Non-Treaty Payers are becoming the minority.

I didn't pay the treaty, nor will I ever pay it. I might have considered paying for it if you didnt try to forge my signature on the treaty in the first place.

If I change your name off the document will you pay it?
