But, with defenders dead you can just run off debuffs for a day breaking the whole place while killing any respawns or crafters that happen to log in. Or just drain the braziers with a ton of alts and watch them break their own **** to refuel while you bash under no fire at all.

Raiding isn't really broken imo, purity is, which allows easy-mode raiding through infinite wall layers in short order. And if someone does die, it allows that person to make another replacement in days to keep raiding. Humours just passed the walls up a long time ago so it seems like they're all papery garbage now.

As for base defense designs, why don't you lay one out for scrutiny? I have yet to see one that will take more than a couple hours to get into with 2-3 people that have good stats.

Easily done, people just need to think outside the box. Ponder a bit if you will. Also, don't even say 10 or 14, I have NEVER seen that many walls, laziness is killing people. Period.
Also, if even one determined defender has the repair materials available ( which you should stockpile, don't be dumb) you can seriously hinder people during their raid runs.

If all the walls were implemented by now everything would be completely fine.
Also, I don't know about you, but how many villages have 100% seeds of all alchemical properties? Doubt hermits do, Maybe two villages in the whole game can "feed chars back up in days" and few people can even reach the humours you are crying about. Everything will fall into place in time.

It just sucks for you, we put the work in defenses first, then ground out purity.
also, if you leave scents/have hearthvaults in the same place you are trying to purity grind, well, then you are stupid anyways. (especially if you are a big mouth on the forums, aka the pro's from GH.)
I can find threads about stax bragging about 30+ walls and it was so demoralizing at the time, but in reality, months later, their actual inner hearthvault only had 5-6??!?!? We would have got in regardless of the spy or not.

Yeah, there's all of that. Lol it's just the best defense atm which is lame imho. We should not need like 30 walls for anything ever.

Activity is the enemy, make sure your fighters are active.

But its not even all that, 30 walls isn't needed, like I said, I don't recall I have seen EVEN 10 walls stacked, and this is in places that have multiple townhouses and what not, people are making poor tactical choices, and that is on them, all the time invested on the houses, could easily have been the walls needed to make raiding at least more difficult.

On the purity thing, more people than you think have max or near max crops. I was a hermit and had near max in everything i wanted while farming as lazily as possible.

As for the walls all being in game and it balancing things a lot I have to agree, but until then purity is still crazy as **** and can easily produce fighters that can rip through all current defenses in a short amount of time. You shouldn't have to build 10 walls to defend your place for an hour, and that's all 10 walls amount to. 3-4 regen runs for a solo raider if it isn't actively defended.

It's fairly obvious that the reason why the tribe is so untouchable is because of the amount of players that they have. If people are online 24/7 raiding is not broken but for normal people with few members/real lives with jobs and school it's broken as *****.
