Oh ffs, complaining about the devs finally adding radar to the vanilla?
We've been begging for it for ages! Good on them!
Honestly, if we get a good camera option and a leveling tool in there it'll be downright playable :3

It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

I think the one who complained is the kind who will never be happy. I think the new minimap icons are really nice, if indeed slightly big. Now I wish we could see animals too, especially those snakes. I don't want to be surprise-attacked while going about my daily business.
I wouldn't mind an easier way to access the backpack on Vanilla like we do with Ender's. It's certainly not the end of the world if we don't get it.
Also, making the pop-up menus stick to where I last placed them would be nice too.

If we get BD client/Haven's grid system with control + g, right clickable foragables, resizable/moveable minimap, player radar with kin colours and enders aimed combat without the sword icon then yes I would use default client easily.
