Swimming + Climbing

Why does this take quadruple the amount of phlegm to use per second as any other thing on Salem?

is it deep water near a cliff? post a picture of the minimap if it doesn't reveal your location

happened to me, once you start climbing it should stop the swimming drain, but it doesn't... it's specially noticeable when you don't have much phlegm...
