I'd rather avoid binary defense like in Haven. I liked how Salem was making raids more costly in effort and time thanks to BB drain and braziers shooting, but at the same time making it easier to get into camp. It somewhat discouraged raiders from nuking just everything. But right now it looks like we are going back to Haven days where if enemy broke your wall he just got in and stole / destroyed everything

Basically this. There really might as well not be a criminal system or braziers with the high humors that are easily gotten. Hustle lasted 2 hours defending them and it was a good fight on his part. That character took him a day to get 100 humors. Everything needs a reworking.

They should just axe all purity until they properly balance the game.

I still have my farmer. Coles was 80 stats and all black skills so will just need to rebuild and spread the bases out now :)

Pretty much. Defenses aren't **** against a determined force with good stats, and even dying doesn't mean anything with the purity system the way it is. Dallane isn't ***** when he says it only took me a day to raise that guy, he only used about 1/4 of the fields I had going as well. It shouldn't be that easy lol

the rest went to my new character in the 50s

I included what I used for you in the 1/4 of my fields estimate 8-) The rest wouldve been done today, got caught cookin' lol

A little sad how they can just stand and tank any amount of defenses. They really need to buff defense.

Yep took 3 guys 2 hours to break 8 layers of wall with 100 braziers and 1 guy defending, seriously unbalanced i know............................................NOT

If you want to defend your base you have to counter attack its as simple as that, too bad all your combat chars died few nights back, and the alive ones were not online...you want to survive in a game like this? its easy you have to be ready 24/7, one wise man (teepeeofwisdom) once said to me that "DEATH DEFIES US ALL".
