I'd say month.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

That's even worse. What if you're not and idiot and are actual able to protect your investment? Personally any game that I would have potentially spent money on loses my investment once they add timers to things unless it's a 24 hour exp boost or something like that. Being able to keep the item encourages collecting. Get enough rich people who enjoy collecting their little outfits and you have a decent amount of profit for a virtual item that didn't cost you anything but some item skins and a line of code.

I've spent about $40 in the cash shop to support Seatribe and I currently like the store as it is but with the addition of the tables and chairs I've gotten a little worried about the direction it could be soon taking.

I'd say month.

I'd support this if the item's cost was reduced and served a purpose for the time it's given out and if we could keep permanent items as-well. Like say my idea of the santa hat. Make it $1-$2 US and have it last for the month of december.

Have both versions then. One for people who can protect themselves, the other one for those who die a lot

I can agree with that. A reduced cost item and a full price one of the same design. One lasts a set time and the other lasts forever. What that also allows for is for the set-time items to be un-stealable from the person's body since it would be gone anyways who cares if you can't take it off of them. Can always go find someone with the real-deal. If they die the item disappears, if they're sent home it stays on them. Sounds fair enough to me.

Nothing wrong with clothing decaying with time as long as it's priced properly. IMO, everything in game should decay over time with claims only giving partial protection instead of full protection.

Salem would draw in a lot more people if it had more customization. I should be able to fill my (now) giant houses with hunting trophies, paintings, tables, chairs, rugs etc free of charge. This is a very good selling feature for any online game. Buying certain things like "Jorb + Loftar" tapestries and the like are fine but centering all furniture on a cash shop is just horrible on so many levels.

I'm 100% with you on this. I really don't want to end up in a situation where the only stuff I can ever make for my house are storage containers and everything decorative comes from the cash shop. I would love to be able to craft my own table, chairs, rugs, and beds. Even if they don't come with the functionality that the H&H furniture had, I would like to be able to craft things that make my house look more like a house and less like a storage shed.

Summed up: We want pretty things!

My vote agrees.

Magic wand of flatness - can decrease cliff by 1 tile, 100 uses (5$),

Scroll of fast travel - single use only, can teleport you to your mate claim if you know his HS even if you got rights of englishman skill (5$),

Farmer pack - some seeds, humus and agri skill for good start (20$),

Mason/Miner pack - quarrying and simple fences skills, pick axe (20$),

Necklace of bear - protects from aggressive animals for 48-96h (5-10$) (most wanted by newbies :D )

Hammer of destruction - removes selected object on your own claim (5$ - 10 uses)

Dagger of newbie - glows when Chief¹ is near (5$ - decays after week or two)

Last wish note - single use, after using you inherit kin list from last character (10$)

Book of the dead - when you got it in your inventory it magically collects names of character you murder (5$)

What if you want to increase? And people could just make 1x1 tile vaults where it goes down 100 tiles around their walls.

Scroll of fast travel - single use only, can teleport you to your mate claim if you know his HS even if you got rights of englishman skill (5$),

Inb4 chief ports to everyone who posts a hearth secret on the forums or ingame...

Farmer pack - some seeds, humus and agri skill for good start (20$),

Decent but the price is off.

Mason/Miner pack - quarrying and simple fences skills, pick axe (20$),

Again price is off

Necklace of bear - protects from aggressive animals for 48-96h (5-10$) (most wanted by newbies :D )

Can't see much of a problem with it but sort of pointless since animals can't murder anyways, just less of an annoyance really

Hammer of destruction - removes selected object on your own claim (5$ - 10 uses)

Just raise your phl everything is easy to break as it is atm

Dagger of newbie - glows when Chief¹ is near (5$ - decays after week or two)

:|

Last wish note - single use, after using you inherit kin list from last character (10$)

No because if the person kins you specifically to harass you or if they kinned you to keep you as kill on sight they could just buy this and then continue to have you on KOS/Spam you

Book of the dead - when you got it in your inventory it magically collects names of character you murder (5$)

Encourages murder but is interesting. Shouldn't be a payed for item though.

Your prices seem way off for North American pricing. 14.99 is even sort of expensive for the clothing/furniture now.
