I really, really wonder how people manage to get scammed all the time. -.-

As listed in the tips section of my trade thread (bottom of first post):

You should not go first if the person you trade with is no trusted trader.
A trade thread and some pages of positive feedback is usually a pretty safe indicator, but ofc no 100% guarantee.

If you add a char by HS that you have already kinned, it will be selected instead => way to verify some char belongs to the HS listed in a trade thread

Mark people you added with a colour that you do not use otherwise, especially not for claim management, that way you can be sure you added that person,
whereas if someone knows your HS (maybe if you are a trader and put your HS in your trade thread) anyone can call himself whatever he wants, and add you and impersonate anyone.


But that all aside, simply not going first when trading with random people => not getting scammed, is that so difficult?
