Humours are not regenerating

Hello

I have not played in a while, so maybe I'm missing some info. I checked the patch and didn't see a solution though, so here goes:

My humours are not regenerating when I eat food. This means I'm stuck. I can't study or explore properly.

What am I missing?

Are you under hypothermia?
It's cold out there currently.

If so, get into the big barn a bit north-west off the statue in Providence and then think about getting clothes http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Clothing
(mainly the ones that need fibres, and maybe dried pelts; you can easily get fibres by collecting reeds along the Providence's beach and rightclicking a reed onto an other)

Wow, that's it. Saw it, but didn't realise the effects set in so early. Can't make fire cause my black bile is already gone. Awesome!

Fire won't save you.
Read again my previous post please I edited it with some advices probably after you read it.

I found a jute shirt, but I cannot equip it. I guess I'll have to empty my inventory and go to Providence.. I have walked too far from my homested.

My humours suddenly restored.. Hypothermia is still same level. I'm not complaining, but it's confusing xD

Most likely you cannot equip the shirt because the slot is used by the robe. Move the robe to the jacket slot (the one in the bottom-left corner of equipment screen).
Did you enter a building ? That would explain getting rid of hypothermia and regenerating your biles.
