Need advices for my pclaim

Hi.

I'm currently thinking about working on my base. First of all, you have to know that I'll be alone to work on it and I won't have resources to build walls higher than stone walls. I don't have valuable things to protect so it shouldn't be a problem. It's only that I've spent time mining and I wouldn't like to start over in another mine.

So if I've understood well, I should build a stone wall around my mine entrance+claim stone (I won't build a town bell, nothing valuable to protect and if players have money to waste it's their problem not mine). I'd like to know if I should leave space to build braziers, torchposts, ... inside this first wall or not.

Between this wall and the edges of the ground I will build a small house and put 4 fields and stuff like this. So after if I'm right I have to build 2 or 3 walls with the strongest wall inside to avoid splash damages. Here I've got the same issue : how can I know how many braziers and torchposts I need? Could I get tips like : 1 brazier every 8 tiles, ... ?

Thank you for your help.

To start, just make sure you have torchposts that cover every part of your walls, including the corners. Once you're sure where you want your walls you can build some more expensive braziers. The more the better with braziers and torchposts, but you need a minimum of having every section of wall covered by at least one. If you want to do more than that, but not a lot more, plan to space your braziers in such a way that you'll have two covering every section of wall.

For start torchposts cover walls
baby braziers + braziers for gate ( 2x baby braziers ) and one braziers for each gate

next cover pclaim with braziers (can also give somewhere baby braziers)

Hi.

Tmeow advices are good.
If you need more specifics here is a plan for the base : http://imgur.com/a/WINJz

The size is about what you have now + planned fields.
The idea :
- The first plan is for some basic protection : tiles are covered by only 1 brazier.
- You free up the needed room for future additional walls and braziers.
- The second plan is what it can evolve into, for more protection, without destroying anything. Tiles covered by at least 3 braziers.
- See how, for the second layer wall (protecting fields) you also keep the necessary room between torchposts and the wall for future walls and braziers if eventually you want to upgrade the base.
- You can add up as much torchposts as you want inside the 2nd layer.
- As an important note : make sure you rotate the braziers before placing them so one of their "face" is parallel to the wall, or it probably won't fit.

regarding rumors for i got raided all base, it's stupid lie.
because,
first town = got trolled and got few TBC + members town abandoned town + major destroy Town Bell = enemy raided town
secound town = got raided and my pclaim too = because nobody play = town don't have finished feance (i think only stone) and 0 torches / 0 blazers near Town Bell
only my pclaim have few troches / blazers but upkeep 0

because i say, if for start you don't have many wrought bar or silvers
cover with Torchpost full pclaim
and witch baby blazers / blazers gates, because wall can be attack with one toon(alt), where gate can be attack with 2 toon(alt) (ofc. unless it is the corner of course)

Don't know why everyone here is mentioning braziers atm, you are obviously not equipped for braziers yet and even if you were the cost to build them outweighs the apparent cost of your current claim. Just focus on putting up a few torchposts around and most people won't bother you. Definitely start on a stone wall and outline it with a split-rail fence if possible, as soon as you can. Good luck!

sure, but he ask "Could I get tips like : 1 brazier every 8 tiles, ... ?"
so, people answer

@Emy, i forget about :)
I won't build a town bell, nothing valuable

nobody know, what do you do... and what you got/have
but Image
i think, nobody raid you (except Heff) :F if you hold that pclaim (put few troches)

IF you wanna storage more thinks, more play
build stone and few torches (each wall cover by torche/s)
for that small pclaim one torches cover full pclaim then few troches = def full pclaim

IF isn't enought
build plank and brick walls
i hear brick wall need 400+ phelgm? alt? for break brick walls... i think if your pclaim isn't valuable, then nobody waste alts for that

OFC good think is build baby blazers and blazers

feature good point is "pure" blazers...

i have one question for other...
torchers and baby blazers have pure mechanic same blazers ?
