Salem is pay to win?

currently, many new players pay to lose what they pay for, by some experienced raiders.
thats whats been happening lately.

More $ is lost to griefers in and around the starting towns than anywhere else. The developers just need to figure out a way to disable l3wting for the starting towns.

That's an easy one, just post some NPC guards with massive HP, godlike damage and a huge aggro range around the borders of town. They would aggro on any criminal act and KO the perp, or maybe haul them off to the stocks for public display for 12 hours.

The problem is that things like dragging a bear into town isn't a criminal act (it is difficult to distinguish from someone just running away hoping to find someone who can kill the bear). I would rather see a fix to creature pathing to create a zone where they can't move (this will also make it harder for Jorb to kill people in Boston with snakes).

There is no pay to win. Any of the packages that are available for sale in the shop only give a few hours headstart at most...any fancy clothes not available any other way. Even if somebody were to buy an assload of silver, there are only so many things you can do with it and none of them involve "winning."

Maybe your definition of pay to win is different (e.g. not what it means) but

In this game, time is irrelevant. If you are a casual, buy a pack so you can actually do **** in your 1-2 hour gaming session. If you are a nolifer, you would have everything a starter pack has to offer after grinding for a few hours.
