Help me understand why I cannot play more than 35 mins...

..without it crashing some way or another.. nothing specifically triggers, any random action.. sometimes its clicking an item, others opening boxes, picking items, learning skills, running, walking, foraging, swimming, engaging in combat, other times because it feels like it.

I am using enders client, have spanking good computer, using java 7... ( Don't know how to set up java 6 for 64-bit )

It is frustrating and simply is driving me away from the game I am currently addicted to.

Should I use the original client ? Any ideas? Help.

When i was crashing a lot, I had luck with turning off my triple-buffering on my graphics card and turning off 'save minimaps'. Watch your memory usage in task manager and see if its climbing too high, also. Try the default client for awhile and see if you still crash.

try to get an error report too, the next time you crash. without one, it's kind of tough to determine what's happening to cause the crashes.

This. If you have any further issues with custom clients, you need to take it up with the respective programmer. Thread closed.

Since this is here, Ender was having issues with Java 7, but he has since reported that they should be resolved with some recent changes. You'll need to check out the details in his thread for more information.
