I know this mechanic is here to make fruit trees a thing for bigger towns with more people, just like animals, but it just doesn't work, as even bigger towns with lots of people don't spend their time sitting around in an orchard. This results in everyone just leaving alts in their orchard to keep it loaded, and it's simply dumb.
